The Watch House shop

During the Summer months our "Duchy" Cornish ice cream is always popular. Served in traditional cones, there are usually at least 8 flavours available, with chocolate flake or clotted cream as extra toppings. There is also a wide range of other ices.

We have freshly baked pasties at weekends and daily during the holidays. Please order in advance if you can, to help us get the quantities right!. A selection of hot drinks, to take away, are also available all year round.

All year round we supply all your favourite soft drinks, sweets and chocolates. This includes a selection of small sweets, priced from 2p, so even younger children can enjoy choosing and paying for their own sweets (surprisingly popular with big kids too!).

We stock a wide range of post cards from Atmosphere, Salmons and Celtic Scene. We have concentrated on local pictures, although we do stock cards of other Cornish subjects.

There is a wide range of prints, and some originals, either mounted or framed. Featured artists include Elizabeth Clarke, Tony Shorthouse and Dick Dobson. Some prints are also available in the form of post cards or general greetings cards.

We have a comprehensive selection of gifts and souvenirs, mostly with a seaside or Cornish theme. Our speciality is our range of model boats and lighthouses. We also stock traditional lobster pots, fishing nets and floats, hand-made by one of our local fishermen. Another popular gift is local jams, preserves and honey. Also, fudge, shortbread and the ever-popular Cornish "Fairings" biscuits.

We sell Maps, guides and local interest books. Our selection of local walking guides are always popular.

While not claiming to be a specialist supplier, we do have a wide range of fishing tackle and bait. We have everything from childrens shrimp nets, crab lines and basic fishing rods to bait, hooks and lures for the more serious fisherman.

We now stock a range of quality wetsuits, fins and snorkels from Sola/Bodyglove. We also have T-shirts and traditional smocks.
