The Watch House in Cadgwith, Cornwall

The Watch House Welcome to our website - we hope that you will find it useful. Besides providing information about The Watch House, this site is full of useful information about Cadgwith and the surrounding area. We have a comprehensive guide to what's on and where to stay in the area and a useful collection of links to other local interest web sites

The Watch House is at the heart of the small community of Cadgwith, supplying sweets, drinks and ices to the local children and fishermen, as well as to the holidaymakers who flock to our village in the summer. We also sell gifts, postcards, beach toys, fishing equipment and bait, maps, guides and pictures by local artists.

This 200 year old building was originally the Customs and Excise boathouse for the area.

Cadgwith is well known as a picturesque fishing village and has a thriving local community, with an excellent pub, a seasonal restaurant, a fresh crab shop and two art/craft galleries, as well as The Watch House itself.
