Hollywood comes to Cadgwith
Scenes for "Ladies in Lavender", a feature film directed by Charles Dance, were shot in Cadgwith. The Cove was returned to the 1930's for a few days for theis drama, starring Maggie Smith and Judi Dench.
Cadgwith goes back in time! The village is dressed to look like the 1930s.
Business as usual!
Local fishermen act as extras. Here you can see them receiving last minute instructions.
The script calls for pouring rain, unfortunately we had glorious sunshine for most of September. A huge gantry sprays thousands of gallons of water to get the required look.
